Bubble Plot - Effect of MEX-AM printing parameters on tensile performance of pristine and discontinuous fibre reinforced PLA composites.

This section features an interactive bubble chart that visualizes the relationship between tensile properties and MEX-AM process parameters. The changing effects for pristine PLA and discontinuous fibre reinforced PLA composites are illustrated. The data was originally collected and compiled for the review article titled “Effect of material extrusion process parameters on tensile performance of pristine and discontinuous fibre reinforced PLA composites: A review,” published in Progress in Additive Manufacturing (2024) [Impact Factor: 4.4]. A link to the paper is provided below. Users can explore the dataset by selecting fibre types (for reinforced PLA) or adjusting the bubble size according to key process parameters, including layer thickness [mm], print speed [mm/s], or extrusion temperature [°C]. Bubble colors represent raster angle [°], as indicated in the legend. Hovering over a bubble reveals dynamic tooltips with detailed information.
Data compiled by the authors for the above review. Full references to original studies are available in the published article.
